It is designed to meet the current and future competency development and qualification needs of new and existing personnel, working in a broad range of work functions and activities within vocational education and training.
This may include:
- 'novice' trainer or assessor who will be using this Training Package to develop specific competencies to commence training and/or assessment practices
- experienced practitioners using the Training Package for ongoing professional and career development.

Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisites for this course.
Entry requirements
A sound understanding of English (year 10 level).
There are no other specific entry requirements into this qualification. However, it is expected that participants will have industry experience and vocational competence in the field in which they will be training and assessing.
Course Outcomes
Throughout the course, participants will learn to:
* Read and interpret Training Packages
* Develop and document learning programs and
assessments
* Prepare a range of records and documents
* Present written and verbal information in a range of
contexts

* External - start anytime (delivered in all states)
* Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) - start anytime
* Assessment only - completion of assessment only with no training. This option is for persons who have extensive experience as a trainer and assessor.
