Certificate III in Education Support

The Certificate III in Education Support forms the first level of a study pathway through to Diploma in Education Support. It articulates into the Certificate IV and Diploma in Education Support.

Study Modes and start dates

The course is delivered through the following modes:
* Fee for Service (Existing Worker) Traineeship program for South East Qld only

* Classroom - click here for a timetable (depending on interest)
* External - start anytime
* Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) - start anytime

Occupational titles may include:

Education support worker, Teacher assistant, Teacher aide, Education assistant (special needs),Education assistant, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander education worker, Indigenous language and culture teaching assistant, Language worker, Literacy worker, Homeland teaching assistant, Home tutor, Support worker (working with children with disabilities).

Compulsory units:  All of the following units need to be completed
